Following the foot steps of poojya Gurudev Jagath Guru Swami Sathyananda
Saraswathy
Thiruvadikal, Lalitha
Sahasranama Archana is conducted every week in western suburbs
of
Chicago. A group of people assemble together to chant invocation
mantras followed by Sidhi Vinayaka Ashtotharam, Lalitha
Thrissathy, Lalitha Sahasranama Archana and Lalitha Ashtothara Archana.
This was started in July 2006, 18 weeks before poojya Gurudev's
Mahasamadhi.
Archana is scheduled to start at 7.30 PM
and ends by 9.00 PM on every Friday. Once the participants assemble,
mantras are chanted in sequence with Akshatam offerings
followed by a pot luck dinner. All are welcome for the pooja. Please
inform the host about your plan to attend so that logistics can be
taken care off. This is a devotional event. So do not keep any
expectations, come in with an open and
clean mind. Children are allowed to play
after the intial invocation mantras.
