Sree Ramanavami Mahotsav, Ramayana Navaham and Mahasamadhi Pratishtha

Sree Sathyananda–Sree Rama Ratha Yatra has rolled off from the Kollur Mookambika Temple on March 24, 2008 . Ratha Yatra will conclude on April 12, 2008 at Thiruvananthapuram after traversing the length and breadth of Kerala and the Kanyakumari District in Tamil Nadu.

Regular celebrations at Thiruvananthapuram will comprise weeklong Ramaleela Festivities ( April 7-12, 2008 ), Chapra-Abhishekam and Sree Rama Pattabhishekam in the Ashram and 12-day long Sree Ramanavami Hindu Maha Sammelan (April 13-24, 2008 ).
 
Sree Ramayana Navaha Yajnam, a long cherished dream of HH Jagadguru Swami Sathyananda Saraswathi Thiruvatikal will be conducted from April 16-24, 2008
 
The much-awaited Pratishtha on Sampoojya Swamiji’s Mahasamadhi will be performed on Hanumad Jayanthi ( April 20, 2008 ) with the consecration of Sree-Chakra-Meru, Sphatika-Siva-Linga and Swamiji’s Swarna-Vigraha. Mahalakshmi Pooja and Sree Sathyananda Guru Sameeksha will also be conducted on the same day so as to serve as an annual feature in the years ahead.
