The Hindus observed the
pancha-maha-yajnas strictly and regularly during the Vedic times and for
thousand of years. These yajnas used to ensure the interdependence and symbiotic
relationship between humans and all other beings: occult and terrestrial.
With the impact of colonial rule
and advent of Western education these practices of relating with all beings have
been brushed aside as superstition and hence have withered away. The continuum
of the heritage over many millennia handed down from generation to generation
has been ruptured.
Net result has been that the Hindu
psyche is frighteningly fragmented and anchorless. Moreover, the rudderless
Hindu community is suffering from its own follies of negligence on all fronts:
religious, social, political and economic.

and the associated performance of 250
Crore Lalita-sahasra-nama Havan will
relieve the community from this rupture from its spiritual heritage – The most
important ingredient for establishing peace across the world. At the individual
and the familial level the Mahayajna will help the devout participants to
eradicate the sins accumulated over generations and resolve the ills such as
Sarpa-dosha.
SAHASRAKOTI ARCHANA
offers Veda (Self-knowledge) to the
spiritualists and science (temporal-knowledge) to the scientists.
The mantras included in the Mahayajna are the “systems of sound” that bestow well-being to all the beings. The cleansing and healing aspects of mantras, homa/ havan and Archana (floral and using kumkum) are well utilized in mantra-therapy, music therapy, aromatherapy and colour therapy. The positive effects of the use of the mantras and the Hindu rituals has been demonstrated with the help of the instruments such as Kirlian/ Aura Cameras, Tonoscope and Dousing-rods and so on.
This most exalted and supremely harmonious yajna embraces and encompasses the complete universe in its fold: the grass, shrub, herbs, plants and big trees; birds and animals; all humanity cutting across the barriers of caste, creed, ethnicity and geography; ghosts, poltergeists, wandering spirits (bhuta-preta-pishacha); the Manes; the divine beings such as yakshas, gandharvas, kinnaras and the devas; the realized souls such as Rishis and Saints; all other Dharmic sources; rivers that carry the elixir of life; the mountains; the clouds; and in fact all the universe of Galaxies made up of the five fundamental elements (panchabhootas).
Thousands
of the devout souls blessed with the ecstatic vision of the Holy and Luminous
descent of the Universal Mother on May 30, 2000 during the Sathakoti Archana
shall be elevated to much higher states of ecstasy as they participate in the
Mahayajana.
PRAYERS
We offer our prostrations at the lotus feet of all the Gurus who govern the
universe and pray to them to bless this Mahayajna. We implore the Lord of the
Universe for the incessant flow of grace for the smooth conduct of the Yajna. We
pray to the Universal Mother to bestow the Mahayajna with the potency to
assemble the thousands of archakas, hotas and hotrikas (sevaks) in complete
unison and supreme harmony. Please bless each one of us with your compassion to
enable us nourish noble thoughts, speak noble words and perform noble deeds.
May this unique event where everyone communes with the Divine through the chants of the sacred-names of the Universal Father and Universal Mother lead to the unity, prosperity and well being of the entire humanity. May it enlighten the humans, the children of Mother Earth, to set right the wrongs that have been committed on Her and the fellow beings. May the Mahayajna put an end to the titanic and animalistic tendencies that sacrifice truth at the altar of religious and other dogmas. May it usher in ever-lasting peace to this Life-centric universe.
